Fall 2025 Thompson Creek Clean-Up

Date: Saturday, October 18
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Location: Central Park East - 7702 Edgewood Blvd. La Vista, NE 
Meeting Spot: At the Park Shelter

Details: The Mayor's Youth Leadership Council will be walking along Thompson Creek to pick up trash and debris. They will be meeting at the shelter in Central Park East promptly at 8:30 a.m. to hand out supplies and give directions. If you would like to participate in their community service project you will need to sign a waiver to join them. Volunteers will be walking along the inside of the creek so wear sturdy shoes and long pants you are comfortable getting dirty or wet. All clean-up supplies will be provided.

Waiver: The signed waiver is required to participate in this project. Participants 19 and older may sign the waiver by themselves.  Participants over 14 will need to have a parent/guardian sign the waiver along with them. Participants under 14 just need their parent/guardian to fill out the form and sign. To fill out the waiver ahead of time you can open and print the PDF document below. We will also have printed waivers available at the start of the clean-up if you would like to sign that morning.
