Due to a complication with a sewer lateral replacement, there is an open trench near the address of 7427 S 69th Street that extends past the centerline of the roadway of 69th Street, making the roadway impassible to vehicles.
Due to the time of day, this trench is likely to be open overnight, effectively closing S 69th Street just west of James Avenue overnight tonight, April 12 into April 13.
The contractor will be working in the morning to resolve the situation and get the roadway back open to one lane width as soon as possible.
